We are pleased to announce a service focused on producing high performance buildings that are a product of integrative planning and design that provide direct and indirect paybacks to our clients.


Our goal is a regenesis of our environment and our spirit.

Chandler, LLC is a specialized boutique consultancy exclusively offering Owner Representation, Project and Construction Management Services for the planning, development, design and construction of building projects.

Environmental technology has improved. Commercial projects are now incorporating measures that yield better building performance with reduced energy costs as well as healthier environments for greater employee productivity. The residential market can also benefit from this technology as it has from professional project management.

The founder, Steven Chandler Hall, has abiding interest in environmental design and construction first sparked by a course at Princeton during his studies for a BA in architecture. He has explored and incorporated “green” features into many projects over his career.

The direct value of many environmental features has been measured and quantified. The terms of “green” and “sustainable” are being replaced with “high performance”. These features can dramatically reduce the costs of energy as well as improve the health environment for our families. There are direct paybacks to us and indirect paybacks to our communities, region, country, and to the world.

Chandler believes that ecological development practices are important, and should be incorporated in every project. Virtually everyone is now aware of the value of wise use of resources. Our individual use of resources is our environmental footprint. Our buildings, and especially our homes, are a central feature in our footprint.

"Green" Features


New York Townhouse

A client and his wife who love the New York City life wanted to renovate and existing commercial two story building on the upper West Side as a home for themselves and their children. They wished to do so and achieve an environmentally friendly home in all respects. Design development management
included examining all aspects from the outset with a noted firm that has pioneered energy and environmental measures and the LEED standards.

Residence - Litchfield County, CT


Residence

A masonry bearing wall system provided thermal mass and efficiency to maximize the advantages of a geothermal heating and cooling system that also gained the Owner a substantial rebate. All site structures including the road were designed to minimize site disturbance. Local stone was used for site work.

Bridge

A pre-fabricated timber bridge was constructed by advancing the bridge deck as piles were driven. Impact to the pristine stream environment was minimal. The very strict local conservation commission endorsed the project and the results.

International Corporate Headquaters - NJ

A multi-volume Environmental Impact Report (EIR)sucessfully addressed all ecological issues in the approval process. A cogeneration plant was installed with 6 multi-fuel turbine generating units.
